Histories of our Anus was an interactive storefront installation in which people were invited off of Halsted St. in Boystown (a predominantly Queer neighborhood in Chicago) to enter the space and converse with me about the anus; their anus; our anus. Does your anus have a gender? How often do you interact with your anus? Can you locate shame or pleasure in your anus? The larger silk digital prints and window prints were developed from images of my actual anus.
